![]() Matched by the eclectic tastes of his touring DJ, Bronson utilized approximately 1/2 of his 55-minute set to work through mixtape faves like “Intro”, “Practice”, “Through The Eyes Of A G”, “Amadu Diablo”, “Jackson and Travolta” complete with guitar solo from Party Supplies and non-mixtape favorite “Strictly For My Jeeps”. ![]() Overall, the Bronson live experience is an odd mixture of Das Racist absurdity, Jay Z’s early appreciation for classic soul arrangements to offset his street education and a Mario Batali love for culinary pursuits. Touring behind his recent Blue Chips 2 mixtape, Action Bronson has brought producer Party Supplies on the road to open the set with their indie-tronica beats, and also to provide some guitar work during these Bronson down moments. And like those heavy weight bouts, the moments of all-out assault are regularly paired with cool down periods for the epic bodies to find an extra breathe. An Action Bronson set is reminiscent of a heavy-weight boxing match, and while any seat in the house may allow you the ability to hear Bronson spit on topics such as drugs, poverty, his passion for food, and now emerging as a star, the experience is only complete if one can feel the energy in these rhymes. ![]() ![]() If you have the chance to watch street-poet Action Bronson live, be sure to show up early for a spot right up against the stage. ![]()
